Landing another of the Carlson Fuku Pinks.

Team Goose headed South this week for Tuna. We headed out at sunrise and fished north of the Dump, an area south of Martha’s Vineyard.

It was an exciting day. We managed 7 Bluefin from 8 hookups, all in the mid 50 inch category. The first fish of the day was caught by Capt. Matt of Tighten Up Charters on the first cast of the day…. Not a bad start!

We started to troll using lightweight rods with Tiagra 50 and Talica 20 reels. Carlson Fuku Pink with a Pearl Stinger was the most successful pattern, netting us 4 from 5. Green Machine accounted for one as did a Pearl with Fuku Pink Stinger. Congratulations to Nick from our Outdoor Center and Will from New England Boating on catching their first Tuna!!

To end the day we were joined by a pod of dolphins that swam and played around us for at least 10 minutes.
